The Original Red Range Whisky

We launched the latest edition in our Red Range series at the Kendal Whisky Festival on Friday the 5th of December 2025. This version spent over four years in one of our Southern Hemisphere Red Wine casks before being finished in one of our own Rum casks. Bottled at 50.5% it really is delightful and at the festival one attendee called it "the best English whisky I've ever tasted". As a measure of how it was received in Kendal we sold all of the stock we took!! 

The original idea for the Red Range came from our sales manager and director, Henry. They will be limited to one release per year and each batch will be from a single cask, so very limited in numbers. Each batch will start life in one of our Southern Hemisphere Red Wine Casks and will then be finished in a complementary alternative. The first Red Range (our batch reference 27) was finished in an ex-peated quarter cask and this year’s (our batch reference 36) has been finished in one of our own ex-rum casks!
